Groups

Exponential Church groups are people taking next steps together.  Join a group and you'll learn why we believe you can't do life alone.

what should I expect?

The goal of joining a group is to grow in your walk with Jesus around people that can support you in taking your next steps. We believe life is better when you live in community. There are Group options available for Married, Coed, Men’s and Women’s. We want to help you find the best fit.

From reluctance to rejoicing- Lisa Rehrer's story

At first, I was reluctant to attend a Life Group, due in large part to being a shy and reserved person.  But the Life Group was small and I felt comfortable almost immediately.  I have enjoyed meeting new people and getting to know them, growing closer over the years. Some women have come and gone, others have relocated or left the group.  But one thing I have noticed is that every person has something in common with at least one other person, and it is only a matter of time before you find it!

My Life Group has given me a safe place to share my joys, frustrations, concerns, encouragement, and prayer requests.  It has been a source of support and allowed me to have a mentorship relationship and also enabled me to provide advice, prayer, and mentorship to others.  Life Group has given me the opportunity to serve alongside and fellowship with true friends and grow in Christ through prayer and study of His word together.  This has helped to strengthen my faith and further fueled my desire to serve Him with my life.  I can't imagine my life without the friendships I have made through Life Groups.  I am blessed to join with other women with a Common Bond.

  • IS CHILDCARE PROVIDED?

Not all Groups offer childcare, but there are options available. Make sure to let us know if you would like to join a group with childcare. Some groups will have participants share responsibility in watching the children, split the cost for a sitter, or make other arrangements.

  • HOW OFTEN DO GROUPS MEET?

Groups meet on different days and times throughout the week. Some choose to meet every week, bi-weekly, or once a month.

  • WHERE DO GROUPS MEET?

Groups meet in homes, restaurants, and coffee shops all across the area.

  • WHAT WILL MY GROUP STUDY?

Most of the year groups study either material they've found on their own or borrow resources from the church's library of group studies.  Once or twice per year all groups study the same thing, at the same time, as a part of a church-wide study that coincides with the Sunday messages.
